Grab all the 10mm you can...

I’ve bought tools out of these bins before, some things can be a decent deal, but most of the time they’re not.

Oh, vending machine quality is assumed.

Can’t have too many magnetic parts dishes or alligator clips.

Any time I go to my local Harbor Freight to pick up one or two things, I inevitably wind up diving headfirst into the bargain bins. Last time, I wound up with at least 10 extra purchases.
It seems like a waste, but it’s seemingly worked out. After years of loaning tools to people and rarely getting them back, I’ve started giving out the cheapo stuff as loaners, and genuinely not caring if they find their way back into my garage.

Given how many I lose, this is a true statement.

This is a great strategy, which I should adopt. I treat other people’s tools like their newborn children, but I can’t count on everyone else to do the same.

I like the primary color scheme.

It’s true. I’ve stopped counting on people to be responsible with my stuff. I’ve gotten stuff like torque wrenches back after a month or two that look like they must have gotten sucked through a time-altering wormhole and spent 6 years on the bottom of the ocean.

Ack. If I did something like that, I’d just go buy a new one and hand it over. I’d be too embarrassed to return a thrashed tool.

Gotta catch the eye. Looks like a fireworks bin.

That’s exactly what I was thinking

I’m the same way, but it seems like you and I are far more reasonable and respectful than most.
